The Modular Aluminium Concept couch is formed by 34 modular sections of extruded chrome-coated aluminium. Together, the pieces soften into a single, sweeping, sculptural shape that celebrates the lustre of gleaming metal. The M.A.C. couch is polished to a high gloss that creates a perspective of depth beyond its surface, as if the couch’s volume is slowly dissolving. As it captures the dematerialising qualities of light and radiates them throughout its surface, the M.A.C. couch pioneers a new aesthetic in furniture design.
